1 Sahara Desert Marathon 62.5 Miles +40 Degrees
In march 2006 Johnny will run the Sahara Desert in the extreme desert heat of +45 degrees and a distance of 62.5 miles over a four day period.

2 North Pole Marathon 26.2 Miles –40 Degrees
3 weeks later Johnny will then head north to the North Pole and run a full marathon in –40 degree tempertures in a marathon that is described as one of the toughest in the world.

3 Cape Town Marathon 35 Miles Uphill
Two days later Johnny will then head to Cape Town south africa to run one of the toughest marathons in the world, the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon 34.8 miles uphill. During this race Johnny actually passes by the Niall Mellon township itself and at this point Johnny will hand over the keys of the houses built from the money that will be raised from the hot and cold challenge to Niall Mellon himself the familes concerned.
